Meet our Groomers in Battle Creek and Portage

Paws and Claws is more than just a grooming salon, we are a place for your furry friend to relax while getting groomed. Not only that, but our Battle Creek locations also offers doggy daycare for your four-legged pal. Our grooming salons in Portage and Battle Creek host a variety of experienced and well-trained groomers who love what they do. Julia – Owner 

Julia has over 40 years of experience as a groomer working with both cats and dogs. She supervises and does the administrative duties at the Battle Creek and Portage Salons. She is currently not accepting new clients.

Nikki – Groomer

Nikki attends business school, has four years in the grooming industry, and is a graduate of two pet training courses. She works at the Portage location and is currently accepting new clients.

Brooke – Groomer

Brooke attends beauty school and is a Paragon School of Pet Grooming graduate with three years of experience. She works at the Portage location and is currently accepting new clients.

Leann – Groomer

Leeann has 600 hours of training and has 1.5 years in the industry. She is doing haircuts and working on patterns. Owning a yorkie herself – she loves trying new styles! She works at the Battle Creek and Portage Salons. She is currently accepting new clients.

Ashley – Groomer

Ashley has 15 years in the industry and has her own poodle puppy she is training for competition. She is at the Portage Salon and works with cats, as well as dogs.  

Glenda – Groomer

Glenda has 17 years in the industry and works at the Battle Creek Salon. She works with both cats and dogs but is currently not accepting new clients.

Rachel – Groomer

Rachel is a certified groomer with over five years in the industry. She is located at the Battle Creek Salon and is currently accepting new clients.

 Angel – Groomer

Angel is a certified groomer with five years of experience. Her passion is hair – Huskies, Malamutes, and more – oh my! This new mother works at the Battle Creek location and is currently only working weekends.

Jessica – Groomer

Jessica has 17 years of experience grooming cats and dogs. She may be new to the Battle Creek area but not to the industry by any means. She is currently accepting new clients.

 Evvianna – Groomer

Evvianna is a Paragon School of Pet Grooming graduate with five years in the industry and three years of stylist experience. She works at the Battle Creek and Portage Salons catering to dogs and cats.
